Four German artists are in the process of traveling the Southeast to showcase their works through an exhibit hosted by The N.C. Zeitgeist Foundation that's titled TEASE (Transatlantic Exhibition of Art in the Southeast II). They started in Atlanta on Sept. 30, then move to Spartanburg on Oct. 1 before arriving in Charlotte on Oct. 3 (the tour ends in Durham on Oct. 5).
While in Charlotte, their works will be on display Oct. 3 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Elder Gallery, 1520 S. Tryon St. Participating in the show are two artists from Germany living in the U.S. - Regine Bechtler of Charlotte and Jane Allen Nodine, an arts professor at the University of South Carolina Upstate. Plus two artists living in Germany who traveled here especially for the show, Jochen Pankrath and Kati von Schwerin.
